Michael Wallace, Police Chief  

Police Lieutenant Michael Wallace has been named Epping’s new Police Chief. He has been serving as interim Police Chief since Chief Gregory Dodge resigned to accept the position of Epping Town Administrator.

Wallace, 44, was raised in Brockton, Mass, and moved to Hampton as a child. He attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School in Dover and immediately upon graduation, enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserves. He became a part-time police officer in Stratham in 1987, then joined the Epping Police full-time in 1988 and stayed for 23 years.

Wallace is married with three sons, 19, 13 and 12. In his spare time, he coaches youth football with the Exeter Seahawks.

A formal reception for Wallace will be held Tuesday, December 27th.

The police department has a new website up and running at www.eppingpd.com. They also have an active Facebook page.
